Well I'll be damned, this sounds professional. Putting some more love on NG... I enjoyed this a lot! Wish it was a bit longer, though, but it sounds just about right all throughout.

This is awesome. But I don't think it's really that dark. It's sad alright, but sadness isn't necessarily "goth," is it? In any case, this is very brilliant, I particularly like the voicing and lyrics, though later on in the song it sort of slips. Great piece!
