Logic much?

I'd say this is worse than the first. There's almost NO story development, so I don't get why NG calls this 'epic'. You mean to tell me that a guy whose lived his entire life under the ground just draws a sword and can suddenly slay demons without mercy or even any kind of emotion? And I see you're sticking with the poser rock music? There's not even voiceovers this time, making it pretty much void of any luster it previously had. The animations are somewhat better, but the fact that this episode was shorter makes me wonder...
This episode isn't bad, but it isn't good either. It's just not that interesting.

[PALADIN episode 1]

Decent

I could think of a million reasons why this flash sucks, and at the same time a million reasons why it has potential. For example, the song during the thick of the episode. Not going to give it away but it doesn't make a whole lot of blistering sense in that kind of atmosphere. Everything also looks quite generic, like the villains and the settings. The animations were pretty good, as well as the voiceovers, surprisingly. Like I said, it's got a few ounces of potential, like the first three episodes of XIN potential.

I'll start with the bad. The compositions weren't particularly moving. They may have fit this animation perfectly, but they wouldn't really catch my interest otherwise. On the plus side, they pretty much narrated the story, so they do have value.
The same applies to the main characters. I'd actually say that some of the qualities for one of the characters has little impact. I don't want to give everything away, but I am referring to the main character, whose life really isn't as bad as you make it seem.
Otherwise, a perfect flash movie in every department, especially graphicwise. There's nothing left for me point out that the other 2000 reviewers before me already haven't. Keep it up.

Leave sandbag alone! It can't do anything, it's defenseless! Why you guys always bein' so mean to sandbag, OMG!
But hey, cool stuff. I think you should warn SMBZ fans that Mecha Sonic is in this, because he's not exactly 'normal' in this flash.

LOL... except the ending

It was hilarious, but the ending sort of ruined it for me. Great job all around and once again, LOL!

Admittedly good

It was a great concept and decent execution. The story, or rather the characters, are the best part. However there are several issues that you should fix in the next part.
First off, your villain, Virus, is overpowered. If not that, you're underestimating the bad guys. It's always cheesy when someone comes up with a bad guy who they think can take on all other villains no problem, and they end up making some lame battle in which everyone except their character is a wuss. I can't agree with that. I'll particularly point out Sephiroth and Ganondorf. They're just bad ass. You say FF fans should be happy but for them (or us, I should say), any fight involving Seph is almost always impressive, and you came up with this... Ganondorf is just treated as background material here. Maybe you're pushing yourself too much?!
Aside from that, you got some lame voiceovers, seriously. The music and background stages are all second-rate too. The sprites, well I understand that you probably had to work with all the characters at once, and they aren't bad. The overall presentation was mediocre.
I'm still going to be looking forward to the next part, hopefully you'll improve on these many flaws to reach Alvin Earthworm's level and turn this into a fantastic flash!

Mildly interesting

I think it would've been funnier if it had stayed more true to the series and you were more incognito with all of the show's flaws. I dunno how to put it, but it just lacks something to make it LOL funny like other parodies (Crab Battle for example).
